Vet Expert Hepatic Dry Food for Dog, 2 kg

Complete and balanced dietary food for dogs that supports liver function in cases of chronic liver insufficiency and helps to reduce the deposition of copper in the liver. The diet contains moderately low levels of easily digestible protein and low levels of copper. The recipe is enriched with artichoke, which has hepatoprotective, choleretic and cholagogic effects, and with soya phospholipids that support the regeneration of liver cells.

Dietetic indications: support of liver function in the case of chronic liver insufficiency. Reduction of copper deposition in the liver.

LOW COPPER – limits its absorption from the gastrointestinal tract and reduces the risk of hepatocyte damage.

HIGH ZINC – protects against excessive absorption and deposition of copper in the liver and supports cellular antioxidant mechanisms involved in protection against free oxygen radicals.

ARTICHOKE – artichoke extracts demonstrate significant hepatoprotective and regenerative effects and show choleretic properties, promoting bile and fat flow to and from the liver.

PHOSPHOLIPIDS – main components of cell membranes that support regeneration processes of damaged hepatocytes.

BALANCE – high-quality ingredients ensure high digestibility and an adequate energy level.

Instructions for Proper Use

Each introduction and extension of the feeding period should take place in consultation with a veterinarian. Initial doses are shown in the feeding table on the packaging. To maintain proper body weight, the doses may be adjusted according to the dog’s needs and divided into two or more meals per day. Recommended feeding duration, depending on the nutritional purpose: support of liver function in chronic liver disease – initially up to 4 months; reduction of copper deposition in the liver – initially up to 6 months.
Dogs must have permanent access to fresh water.

Maize, white rice, dried poultry (16 %), poultry fat (6 %), poultry gravy (3 %), linseed (3 %), minerals, cellulose, sodium chloride, dried artichoke (0.19 %), soy lecithin (0.1 %) – source of phospholipids.
