KRKA Dehinel Plus XL Flavor de-worming tablets for dogs

Dehinel Plus XL are tablets intended primarily for large dogs.

Please read the additional instructions for use of the veterinary medicinal product carefully before using the veterinary medicinal product. Dehinel XL tablets are intended to eliminate intense worming and tapeworm infestation, especially in large dogs (large and heavy dog breeds).

The dosage of the medicine is thus simplified, as it may often be the case that the dosage of regular Dehinel Plus tablets is not sufficient.

What does Dehinel Plus XL contain?

Dehinel Plus XL contains a combination of active substances that remove many infestations of the digestive tract.

1 tablet contains:

175 mL of praziquantel

504 mg pyrantelembonate

525 mg febantel

The combination of ingredients works synergistically and is highly selective in the infested area. Dehinel tablets can be halved as they do not have a customized function.

What do we treat with Dehinel Plus XL tablets?

Dehinel tablets are suitable for the treatment of various infestations, namely:

Worms
Toxocara canis, Toxascaris leonina (late developmental and adult forms), Uncinaria stenocephala, Ancylostoma caninum (adults)

Tapeworms
Taenia spp., Dipylidium caninum

Dosage of Dehinel Plus XL tablets

Measure 1 tablet per 35 kg of body weight. If necessary, the tablet can also be divided and the intake adjusted. The tablets are administered directly to the animal's mouth or, if necessary, the tablet is hidden in the diet to make it easier to swallow.

In order for the dose of the medicine to be as optimal as possible, it is best to determine the weight of the animal very precisely. If the worm infestation is very severe, it is advisable to repeat the dose after a 14-day period, as this is the only way to accelerate deworming.
