KRKA Fypryst 402mg spot-on For dogs, 40+kg

Treatment and prevention of flea and tick infestations, treatment and control of allergic dermatitis caused by flea bites in dogs.

Composition:

• 1 pipette (4.02 ml) contains: Active substance: Fipronil 402 mg Excipients:
  – butylhydroxyanisole (E320) 0.80 mg,
  – Butylhydroxytoluene (E321) 0.40 mg.

Indications:

• Treatment and prevention of infestation with fleas (Ctenocephalides spp.) and ticks (Rhipicephalus spp.,
• Dermacentor spp., Ixodes spp.) in dogs.
  Treatment and control of allergic flea bite dermatitis (FAD) in dogs.
• Prevention and treatment of infestation with malignant lice Trichodectes reed in dogs.

How to use: Remove the pipette from the package. Hold the pipette vertically with the tip up and unscrew the pipette cap. With the other end of the cork, pierce the seal of the pipette, remove the animal’s hair in the midline between the shoulders to make the skin visible.
Place the tip of the pipette on the skin and press the tube several times to pour the contents directly onto the skin.
The product is effective against flea infestation for up to 2 months and against ticks for up to 4 weeks, depending on environmental infestation. Fleas die within 24 hours of application.

Contraindications:

• In the absence of studies, the drug should not be administered to kittens under 8 weeks of age and weighing less than 1 kg.
• Do not give the drug to sick animals (systemic diseases, fever) or convalescent animals.
• Do not give this product to rabbits due to the risk of serious side effects or even death.

Warning:

• Avoid contact of the product with the eyes of animals.
• Ticks on animals must be removed before using the product to reduce the risk of infectious diseases.
• It is important to ensure that the product is applied in an area where the animal cannot lick and that the animals must not lick each other.
• There is not enough information on the effectiveness of the product after bathing/shampooing animals.
• Therefore, this practice is not recommended for 2 days after applying the product and more than once a week.
• Emollient shampoos can be used before treatment, but if used weekly they will reduce the duration of flea protection to about 5 weeks.
• Weekly bathing with 2% chlorhexidine shampoo does not affect the effectiveness of the product against fleas, according to studies conducted over 6 weeks.
• Dogs should not swim in running water for 2 days after application.

Store in original package. Protect from light and moisture. Keep out of the reach of children and animals. Store separately from food and animal feeding at +5 -25°С.
