A weight-reduction diet should only be followed under veterinary supervision. For optimal results, feed this dietetic food exclusively. Additional food or changes to the diet plan should only be made after consulting a veterinarian, particularly when the cat is receiving insulin therapy.
For cats with diabetes mellitus, the food contains low levels of mono- and disaccharides. The initially recommended feeding period is up to six months.
Consult a veterinarian before use or before extending the feeding period.
Storage
After opening, store in the refrigerator at 2–6°C. Do not keep at room temperature for longer than 24 hours.
