Raw Paleo Healthy Grain is a complete and balanced dry food for for growing dogs from weaning to 12 months of age, based on high-quality dried salmon meat, enriched with easily digestible fish meal.

The use of two different protein sources results in a better balance of essential amino acids for the dog. A characteristic feature of the product is also the use of two types of carbohydrates in the form of BARLEY and SWEET POTATOES.

BARLEY –  has a low glycemic index, which allows you to use the energy released gradually.

SWEET POTATOES –  provide easily digestible energy, which the dog’s body uses immediately after a meal.

Such a distribution of energy from food is perfect for the complete use of the protein contained in meat for the building needs of the body. This ensures the maintenance of appropriate muscle mass while maintaining the optimal condition of the dog.

WHAT IS THE GLYCEMIC INDEX AND HOW DOES IT WORK IN PRACTICE?
The glycemic index is an indicator of blood glucose levels. A high glycemic index indicates that the concentration of glucose increases significantly immediately after a meal, a low one – that it is released gradually (LONG LASTING ENERGY). In RAW PALEO HEALTHY GRAIN, we use two different sources of carbohydrates with a different glycemic index (barley and sweet potatoes). This allows you to provide your dog with fast energy for immediate use right after a meal as well as energy that is released gradually for later action. Thanks to this division of energy, your pet will have the strength to play and take long walks throughout the day!

The recipe contains additives to support the proper functioning of the joints (GLUCOSAMINE and CHONDROITIN SULFATE), the digestive tract (MOS and FOS) and the immune system (CRANBERRY).

Feeding instructions:

The food covers the nutritional requirements of a healthy puppy, regardless of breed and size. Initial portions are provided in the feeding guide. The daily portion should be divided into 4 or more meals. In the case of a higher nutrient requirement, the size of the daily portion should be adjusted individually. The dog should have constant access to clean, fresh water. The introduction of the new food should take place gradually, mixing it with the previously used food over a period of approximately 2 weeks.

Composition: dehydrated salmon meat (35%), barley (20%), fish meal (12%), sweet potato (11%), poultry fat (10%), potato protein (4%), sugar beet pulp (4%), salmon oil (1,37%), linseed, glucosamine (500 mg/kg), brewer’s yeast, mannanoligosaccharides (MOS – 500 mg/kg), chondroitin sulphate (200 mg/kg), fructooligosaccharides (FOS – 200 mg/kg), Mojave yucca, dried cranberries (0,02%).

Additives. Nutritional additives per kg: Vitamins: Vitamin A (3a672a) – 18000 IU, Vitamin D3 (3a671)* – 1500 IU, Vitamin E (3a700) –  530 mg, Folic acid (3a316) – 1 mg, Biotin (3a880) – 1 mg. Trace elements:  Iron(II) sulphate monohydrate (3b103) –  50 mg, Calcium iodate anhydrous (3b202) –  1,5 mg, Copper (II) sulphate pentahydrate (3b405) –  5 mg, Manganous sulphate monohydrate (3b503) –  20 mg, Zinc sulphate monohydrate (3b605) –  115 mg, Sodium selenite (3b801) –  0,1 mg. Provitamins:  Taurine (3a370) – 1235 mg, L-carnitine (3a910)  – 50 mg. Technological additives: antioxidants, preservatives.

*Simultaneous use with Vitamin D2 is not allowed.

Analytical constituents: crude protein – 29 %, crude fat – 17 %, crude ash – 7,5 %, crude fibre – 3,2 %, moisture – 9 %, calcium – 1,3 %, phosphorus – 1,0 %, potassium – 0,6 %, sodium – 0,5 %, Omega-3 fatty acids – 0,42 %, Omega-6 fatty acids – 2,15 %, Metabolizable Energy: 4311 kcal/kg.
