Highly effective odour control with natural activated carbon
The natural activated carbon is produced from coconut shells, a renewable raw material. Activated carbon is a highly porous form of carbon with an exceptionally large surface area. Just 2 grams of activated carbon can have a total surface area exceeding 2,000 m²—approximately half the size of a football field.
Due to its unique physical and chemical properties, activated carbon strongly attracts and securely binds odour molecules. This process is known as Van der Waals interaction.
Thanks to its enormous surface area, activated carbon can effectively capture and neutralise numerous unpleasant odours simultaneously.
Activated carbon has been successfully used in households for many years, including in cooker hoods, refrigerator odour filters, water filters and shoe insoles.
White colour
Cats may suffer from kidney or urinary tract disorders, which can sometimes be detected through changes in their urine. The white colour of the litter makes unusual urine discolouration easier to notice.
Biokat’s Bianco EXTRA Classic has a brilliant white appearance. The specially selected white clay offers exceptionally strong absorbency, making the litter highly effective and economical to use.
