NEOSTOMOSAN® concentrate is an over-the-counter veterinary medicine for the treatment of external parasite infestations in Dogs, Cats, Horses, Sheep, Pigs, Rabbits and Cattle.
Sport horses: for the prevention and treatment of scabies, as well as for the infestation of flies, lice and ticks.
Dogs and cats: for the prevention and treatment of flea, mite and lice infestations; for the treatment of demodecosis, sarcoptosis and otodectosis.
Cattle, sheep, pigs and rabbits: for spraying in animal housing.
Contra-indications: do not use in productive animals!
Ingredients:
Composition of active substances in 1 ml:
Transmix 50 mg,
Tetramethrin 5 mg.
Dosage and method of use:
Way to use: spraying or bathing.
For horses: For the control of flies and other ectoparasites: Treat the body surface of the animal by diluting the concentrate (1 L to 400 L water). Repeated treatments are recommended at 3-day intervals.
Dogs and cats: For washing, drenching or spraying, prepare a 1:200 solution (5ml per 1L). In case of flea or lice infestation, treat the entire body surface of the animal as well as the animal's sleeping area. The mites die within a few hours. A single treatment of the animal provides protection against re-infestation for 2-3 days. In the case of sarcoptosis and demodecosis, treatments are repeated at 10-day intervals until no mites are found on two subsequent skin scrapings. In the case of otitis externa, the working solution is injected into both ears in an attempt to moisten the external ear canal.
The treatment is repeated after 7 days. In cattle, sheep, pig, rabbit housing: Spray into the environment at a concentration of 1:400 diluted in Neostomosan concentrate (1 L per 400 L of water), repeated at intervals of 2-3 weeks. The indicated treatment results in a reduction of flies for 2-3 weeks.

Special precautions for use:Do not use to other target species than are indicated.The working solution should be used within 24 hours. Do not use in animals intended for human consumption. Wear gloves when handling the product. Avoid direct contact with the skin, eyes and mucous membranes. Wash hands after use. Wash any splashes from skin or eyes immediately with water.Toxic to fish and bees. Do not contaminate ponds, waterways or ditches with the product or used containers without first rendering them harmless. By mixing 1 kg of lime to 100 litres of the working solution, the active ingredients breaks down completely within 48 hours.In case of accidental ingestion seek medical advice and show the label or leaflet to the physician.
Special precautions for storage: Shelf-life of the veterinary medicinal product as packaged for sale: 36 months. Shelf-life after first opening the immediate packaging: 12 months. Shelf-life after dilution or reconstitution according to directions: 24 hours. Store in a dark, cool place, below 25oC. Do not freeze. Close container securely after use.
