per 1-2 kg of body weight of the animal - dose 1/2 tablet
per 2.1-4 kg body weight of the animal - dose 1 tablet
per 4.1-6 kg of body weight of the animal - dose 1 1/2 tablets
per 6.1-8 kg body weight of the animal - dose 2 tablets
Puppies weighing less than 1 kg should not be treated with this medicine because they cannot be dosed correctly.
Route of application:
Oral use.
The tablets are given directly into the mouth, but can also be given with a small amount of food if needed.
Infestations with roundworms, especially in pups, cannot be completely eliminated by a single dose of the parasite, so there is a risk of human infection. Treatment with an appropriate anthelmintic should be repeated every 14 days for 2 to 3 weeks after weaning.
Special warnings
Special warnings for each species:
Tapeworm infestation does not occur in cats before the third week of age.
Fleas are intermediate hosts of the common tapeworm Dipylidium caninum.
The tapeworm infestation will certainly recur if intermediate hosts such as fleas, mice, etc. are not eliminated.
Care should be taken to avoid the forms of treatment described below, as they increase the risk of developing resistance and thus ineffective treatment:
- too frequent and repeated long-term use of anthelmintics from the same group of drugs,
- use of low doses due to an error in weight determination or incorrect administration of the drug.
Special precautions to be taken by the person administering the veterinary medicinal product to animals:
In case of accidental ingestion, seek medical advice immediately and show the package leaflet.
People who give tablets to cats directly into their mouths or into food should wash their hands for hygienic reasons after administration.
