NAME OF ACTIVE INGREDIENTS AND OTHER SUBSTANCES

1 ml of solution contains:

Active ingredient:

Imidacloprid 100 mg.

One pipette of Advantage contains imidacloprid:

• 80 mg (0.8 ml of 10% solution for cats with a body weight of 4 kg and more).

Excipients:

• Butylhydroxytoluene 1 mg;
• benzyl alcohol;
• Propylene carbonate.

INDICATIONS

For the treatment and control of flea infestations in cats.
One treatment prevents flea infestation for 3-4 weeks. Medicines can be used as part of a treatment plan for flea-based dermatitis (BAD).

CONTRAINDICATIONS

• Do not use in unweaned kittens under 8 weeks of age.
• Do not use in productive animals.
• Do not use in case of increased sensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients.

POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS

Veterinary drugs have a bitter taste, and if the animal licks the area immediately after treatment, salivation can sometimes be observed. It is not a sign of intoxication and disappears within minutes without treatment.
In very rare cases, signs of a skin reaction such as hair loss, redness, itching and skin lesions may be observed. Can the excitability of observers.
Exceptional cases in cats can also increase salivary and nervous disorders, such as incoordination, three and depression.

DOSAGE DEPENDING ON ANIMAL SPECIES, ROUTE AND METHOD OF ADMINISTRATION

For external use only.
Treatment scheme:

Weight of the cat:

• 4 kg and more: Advantage 100 mg/ml solution for instillation on the skin for cats with a body weight of 4 kg and more - 1 pipette x 0.8 ml. Imidacloprid dose – no more than 20 mg/kg.
• If necessary, the treatment is repeated every 4 weeks. Re-infestation of fleas may occur 6 weeks or later after the last application, due to hatching of new fleas. Therefore, depending on the number of fleas in the environment, more than one treatment may be necessary.

To prevent flea infestation from the environment, it is recommended to simultaneously use a product that acts against fleas and their developmental stages in the environment.
After wetting the coat (e.g. heavy rain, swimming), the effect of the drug continues, but it is possible that, depending on the number of fleas in the environment, repeated application may be necessary. In this case, reapplying should be done no more than once a week.

RECOMMENDATIONS FOR CORRECT USE

Remove one pipette of the appropriate dose from the package.
Holding the pipette vertically, turn and remove the cap.
Using the opposite end of the cork, open the protective layer of the pipette.
The animal is trimmed in the withers area until the skin is visible.
Place the tip of the pipette on the skin and squeeze the pipette firmly several times so that the entire content of the pipette goes directly to the skin.
The medicine has a bitter taste and if the animal licks the treated area immediately after treatment, salivation can sometimes be observed. It is not a sign of intoxication and disappears within minutes without treatment. Choosing the right application site (on the forehead) reduces the possibility of drug ingestion. Apply only on undamaged skin. Do not allow newly treated animals to lick each other.

SPECIAL STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS

• Store out of sight and reach of children.
• These veterinary medicinal products do not require special storage conditions.
• Store separately from food, drink and animal feed.
• Expiry date after first opening the immediate package: use immediately.

SPECIAL WARNINGS

Do not allow the medicine to get into the eyes or mouth of the animal.
Prevent recently treated animals from licking each other.

Store in original package. Protect from light and moisture. Keep out of the reach of children and animals. Store separately from food and animal feeding at +5 -25°С.
