Calmatonine is a dietary supplement designed to reduce stress caused by sudden changes in a pet's daily routine, unexpected owner absence, relocation, guests, owner changes, travel, veterinary visits, and unexpected noises (thunder, fireworks, etc.).
The formula is carefully developed to stabilize the nervous system:
- Tryptophan is an essential amino acid that promotes serotonin production.
- Valerenic acid (from valerian extract) acts as a CNS neurotransmitter inhibitor.
- Flavonoids from passionflower extract have a calming effect.
Content per tablet:
- Tryptophan: 120mg
- Valerenic acid: 0.8mg (from Valeriana officinalis root extract 100mg)
- Flavonoids: 4mg (from Passiflora incarnata fruit extract 100mg)
- Inositol: 65mg
Additives (%):
- Vitamins, provitamins, and chemically analogous substances: Inositol 7.1%
- Amino acids and their analogs: Tryptophan 13%
- Flavorings: Vanilla extract (Vanilla planifolia) 3.3%, Valerian root extract (Valeriana officinalis) 10.9%, Passionflower fruit extract (Passiflora incarnata) 10.9%, Stevia extract (Stevia rebaudiana) 3.2%.
Dosage:
- Cats: ½ tablet/day

- Up to 10kg – ½ tablet/day
- 10–20kg – 1 tablet/day
- 20–30kg – 1½ tablets/day
- 30–40kg – 2 tablets/day
- Over 40kg – 3 tablets/day
- Ferrets, rabbits, birds: ¼ tablet/day
