Eco-Friendly Cat Litter – Gimborn Biokat’s Eco LIGHT EXTRA, 5 L
Made from renewable materials and enriched with activated carbon.
Biokat’s Eco Light Extra cat litter is made from sustainably sourced soybeans and natural plant fibres.
It also contains activated carbon, which provides highly effective odour binding and absorption.
Highly efficient and long-lasting
Eco Light Extra is an exceptionally efficient cat litter because its plant fibres offer excellent absorbency.
Simply remove the clumps and solid waste three times a day.
Top up the litter instead of replacing it completely: add only the amount that has been removed.
The remaining litter can stay in the litter box for four to six weeks.
More information about how long one bag will last can be found on the front of the packaging.
Highly effective odour binding
Activated carbon is a highly porous carbon material with an enormous surface area. If just 2 grams of activated carbon were unfolded, they would cover an area equivalent to approximately half a football field—more than 2,000 square metres.
Thanks to its unique physical and chemical properties, activated carbon strongly attracts and binds odour-causing substances to its carbon molecules.
Activated carbon has been successfully used in households for many years, including in cooker hoods, refrigerator odour filters, water filters and shoe insoles.
Excellent absorbency and a natural fragrance
Biokat’s Eco Light Extra litter is made from plant fibres that naturally form clumps and act like a sponge. They completely absorb liquids.
Firm clumps are formed, securely locking in both moisture and unpleasant odours.
Easy to carry
Biokat’s Eco Light Extra weighs up to 50% less than comparable cat litter made from natural clay, making it especially easy to carry.
Simple and hygienic disposal of individual clumps
Place one clump at a time into the toilet, allow it to dissolve and then flush.
Do not place several litter clumps into the toilet at the same time.
The remaining cat litter is not suitable for disposal in a household toilet. It may only be disposed of in compost, an organic waste bin or household waste. Always follow local waste disposal regulations.
Biodegradable
The plant fibres are suitable for composting, making the litter a more environmentally friendly choice.
