MONGE VETSOLUTION FELINE RENAL contains green tea polyphenols. Green tea polyphenols (epigallocatechin gallate - EGCG, catechins) are known for their strong antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects.

EGCG can counter nephrotoxicity by suppressing leukocytosis, systemic inflammation, oxidative stress, and its consequences. EGCG has a significant impact on renal hypertension and promotes tissue regeneration. Catechins in MONGE VETSOLUTION FELINE RENAL help reduce oxidative stress caused by free radicals and lower cellular damage in renal epithelium, limiting the formation of uremic toxins and nitric oxide (NO). Catechins also significantly increase the activity of certain enzymes. Additionally, they improve renal circulation and kidney function, while preventing glycogen accumulation in renal tubules, thus lowering blood glucose levels.

Although the absorption of natural polyphenols is limited, the absorbed fraction is transported to the liver and kidneys. Combined with albumin, polyphenols modified in the liver are excreted via urine and bile. Polyphenols in MONGE VETSOLUTION FELINE RENAL limit gastrointestinal bacterial degeneration, optimizing nutrient utilization efficiency.
