Panax ginsenosides modulate vasomotor function, reduce platelet aggregation, influence ion channels, alter the release of autonomic neurotransmitters, and improve lipid profiles. The standardized ginseng extract inhibits cardiomyocyte apoptosis. In dogs, Panax ginseng ginsenosides can promote serotonin release, acting as adaptogens to increase endurance and combat stress. Recent studies suggest that ginseng's antioxidant and organ-protective effects are associated with increased nitric oxide (NO) synthesis in the endothelium of the lungs, heart, and kidneys.

Ginsenosides in MONGE VETSOLUTION CANINE CARDIAC are minimally broken down by stomach acids and metabolized with the help of gut bacteria. The resulting metabolites are absorbed from the intestines. Long-term consumption of ginseng extract is safe and reduces sensitivity to cardiac ischemia-reperfusion injury.

Contraindications: Pregnancy, lactation, growth, pancreatitis.

PROTEINS: To maintain muscle mass and prevent wasting, the protein content is unrestricted. Taurine and carnitine levels are increased to compensate for taurine deficiency sometimes observed in dogs with cardiomyopathy and to optimize the metabolism of long and medium-chain fatty acids.
