Vet Expert Hepatic Wet Food for Dog, 400g

Complete and balanced dietary food for adult dogs, recommended to support liver function in cases of chronic liver insufficiency and to reduce copper accumulation in the liver. Dietetic indication: support of liver function in chronic liver insufficiency.

MONOPROTEIN CHICKEN – a carefully selected single source of high-quality animal protein that lowers the risk of intolerance to ingredients and nutrients.

COMPOSITION – high-quality ingredients ensure high digestibility and an adequate energy level.

LOW COPPER – limits copper absorption from the gastrointestinal tract and reduces the risk of hepatocyte damage.

FOS & MOS – prebiotics used by intestinal bacteria that stabilize intestinal microflora, provide energy for large-intestine cells and non-specifically stimulate immune mechanisms in the digestive tract.

DL-METHIONINE – supports proper liver cell function.

Instructions for Proper Use

The feed administered in amounts based on the dog’s ideal body weight meets daily nutritional requirements. Initial feeding amounts are shown in the feeding table and may be divided into two or more meals. Veterinary consultation is recommended before first use and before extending the feeding period. The diet should be used as the sole food according to the dog’s age, breed and activity level. Recommended duration of use: initially up to 4 months.
Fresh water must be available at all times.

Composition

Meat and meat by-products (41 % chicken), grain (6 % rice), minerals (1.2 %), vegetable by-products (0.1 % Yucca schidigera, 0.1 % MOS, 0.1 % FOS), oils and fats (0.5 % salmon oil, 0.5 % linseed oil).

Nutritional Additives

Vitamin D3 (3a671) 200 I.E., zinc as zinc sulfate monohydrate (3b605) 25 mg, manganese as manganese-II-sulfate monohydrate (3b503) 1.4 mg, iodine as calcium jodat anhydrous (3b202) 0.75 mg, DL-methionine 200 mg, copper as cupric sulfate pentahydrate (3b405) 1 mg.
