1. Scope

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern the use of the website https://zuzu.land (the “Website”) and purchases made through it. By placing an order, you confirm that you have read and accept these Terms, our Return & Refund Policy, Shipping Policy and Privacy Policy, which form an integral part of the contract. Purchases made through third-party marketplaces (e.g. Amazon, eBay) are additionally subject to the terms of those platforms.

If you are a consumer, nothing in these Terms limits the rights granted to you by mandatory consumer protection law.

2. Ordering and Conclusion of the Contract

Product listings on the Website constitute an invitation to submit an order, not a binding offer. By completing checkout you submit an offer to purchase. A contract of sale is concluded when we send you an order confirmation email or, at the latest, when we dispatch the goods.

We may decline or cancel an order before dispatch, in particular where: goods are out of stock; the order was placed on the basis of a manifest error in price or product description; payment could not be verified; or delivery to the destination is not possible or lawful. In such cases any payment received is refunded in full without undue delay.

3. Prices and Payment

Prices are stated in euro (EUR) or, where offered, displayed in your local currency, and include VAT at the applicable rate. Delivery charges are shown separately at checkout before you confirm the order. The price applicable to your order is the price displayed at the time the order is placed.

In the event of a manifest pricing error that a reasonable customer could recognise as such (e.g. an obviously misplaced decimal point), we are entitled to cancel the affected order before dispatch and refund any payment made.

Payment is made at checkout using the methods displayed there (payment cards, bank-link payments and other listed methods). The order is processed once payment is authorised.

4. Delivery

Delivery destinations, timeframes and costs are set out in our Shipping Policy and at checkout. The risk of loss of or damage to the goods passes to you when you, or a third party indicated by you (other than the carrier), acquire physical possession of the goods.

If we fail to deliver within the agreed time, or within 30 days where no time was agreed, you may require delivery within a reasonable additional period and, if we still fail to deliver, terminate the contract and receive a full refund.

5. Right of Withdrawal, Returns and Warranty

Consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal for distance purchases, subject to the statutory exceptions, as set out in our Return & Refund Policy. Consumers additionally benefit from the statutory guarantee of conformity for two years from delivery under the Consumer Rights Protection Law of the Republic of Latvia.

6. Product Information; Pet Care Disclaimer

We take care to describe products accurately. Images are illustrative and minor variations (e.g. packaging updates by manufacturers) may occur without affecting the nature of the product.

Product descriptions, feeding guides and articles on the Website are general information and do not constitute veterinary advice. Always follow the manufacturer’s instructions and consult a veterinarian regarding your animal’s health, diet, medication and any adverse reactions. Veterinary medicinal products must be used strictly in accordance with their labelling and applicable regulations.

7. Accounts

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information provided in your account and for keeping your credentials confidential. We may suspend or terminate accounts used in breach of these Terms or applicable law.

8. Intellectual Property

The content of the Website (texts, graphics, logos, images, software) belongs to ZuZu.land SIA or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. It may not be reproduced or used for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.

9. Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or under mandatory consumer protection law.

Subject to the above, we are not liable for indirect losses or loss of profit of business customers, and our total liability towards business customers in connection with any order is limited to the amount paid for that order. We are not liable for third-party websites linked from the Website.

10. Personal Data

Personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Latvia. If you are a consumer residing in another EU Member State, you additionally retain the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence.

Complaints are handled at hello@zuzu.land. Consumers may also apply to the Consumer Rights Protection Centre of Latvia (PTAC, www.ptac.gov.lv) or use out-of-court dispute resolution mechanisms available in their Member State. Disputes that cannot be resolved amicably are subject to the courts of the Republic of Latvia, without prejudice to mandatory consumer jurisdiction rules.

12. Changes

We may amend these Terms with effect for the future. The version in force at the time an order is placed applies to that order. Material changes will be announced on the Website.
