The beneficial effects of horse chestnut are linked to its main component, escin, which enhances tight junction protein expression and effectively suppresses acute inflammation in cases of intestinal mucosal damage.

The efficacy of the fit-aroma in MONGE VETSOLUTION CANINE GASTROINTESTINAL is enhanced by the inclusion of tindalized, inactivated strains of Lactobacillus acidophilus, Lactobacillus casei, Lactobacillus plantarum, and Streptococcus thermophilus. This parasynbiotic approach (combining paraprobiotics and prebiotics) allows these strains to resist digestive enzymes, bile acids, and gastric juices, enabling them to adhere to the intestinal epithelium and compete with harmful bacteria, thus supporting local immunity.

Indications: Acute and chronic gastroenteritis, colitis, constipation, malabsorption, diarrhea, small intestinal bacterial overgrowth (SIBO), exocrine pancreatic insufficiency, pancreatitis.
