GeriatiVet Large Breed 820 mg, Supplement for Senior Large Breed Dogs (5+ Years)

The product is recommended for older dogs to support proper energy metabolism, physical performance and vitality of the body. It contributes to maintaining the proper function of joints, bones and muscles as well as the immune system.

HMB-Ca – stimulates proliferation of antibody-producing cells and promotes metabolic activity of immune cells.

Omega-6 fatty acids, such as linoleic acid (LA) and gamma-linolenic acid (GLA), support the skin’s water barrier. They are building blocks of ceramides that prevent water loss between epidermal cells, helping to maintain adequate skin moisture and elasticity. The best sources are borage oil and evening primrose oil.

β-glucan – improves phagocytic activity of immune cells and enhances response to bacterial antigens by increasing the number of antibody-producing cells.

L-carnitine – an essential amino-acid derivative that helps convert fat into usable energy and is necessary for optimal heart, brain and muscle function.

Dosage and Administration

Dogs between 15 and 30 kg b.w. – 1 tablet daily.

Dogs over 30 kg b.w. – 2 tablets daily.

Administer before or during meals. Tablets may be administered crushed. If the daily dose consists of several tablets, it may be divided into 2–3 portions. Dogs should always have access to fresh water.

Composition

11.1.11 CaHMB (calcium β-hydroxy-β-methylbutyrate), 2.20.1 refined soybean oil Glycine max. (L.) Merr. – source of Omega-6 fatty acids, 12.1.5 yeasts (beta-glucan), 13.2.8 glucosamine from animal tissues, 13.6.4 magnesium stearate, 13.1.7 dried Aztec marigold (Tagetes erecta L.) – source of lutein.

Nutritional Additives (g/kg): 3a911 L-carnitine L-tartrate 99 g, 3a700 vitamin E 9,900 IU.

Technological Additives (g/kg): 1E460 microcrystalline cellulose  264 g, 1E414 acacia (gum arabic) 158.4 g, 1E551b colloidal silica 6.6 g.

Storage Instructions: Store in a dry place at room temperature.
