Vet Expert Renal Elimination Dry Dog Food 2 kg is a complete veterinary diet for adult dogs with chronic kidney disease, especially those who also suffer from ingredient or nutrient intolerance. It is formulated to support kidney function while being gentle on a sensitive digestive system.

The recipe is monoprotein and gluten-free – rabbit is the only animal protein source, while brown and white rice are the sole carbohydrates. This helps reduce the risk of adverse food reactions and makes the diet suitable for elimination trials.

A controlled level of protein and phosphorus helps reduce kidney workload, while peas provide additional plant protein and energy. Duck fat is an easily digestible source of calories, helping maintain body weight in dogs with reduced appetite. Linseed (5%) is rich in omega-3 fatty acids for skin, coat and overall health. Beet pulp (5%) supplies soluble and insoluble fibre to support the digestive tract and a balanced intestinal microflora.

The addition of dried cranberries supports the lower urinary tract, providing extra protection for dogs prone to urinary issues alongside kidney disease.
