Forza10 Adult Cat Renal Active is a complete food for adult cats to support their kidney function in case of chronic kidney failure.

• Single animal protein source: surface fish (anchovies and herring caught in open sea).
• Single carbohydrate source: rice.
• Addition of beet pulp, which provides fermentable fibre which has a positive effect on chronic kidney disease - besides helping the intestinal system function, often affected by this underlying disease.
• Corn gluten as a protein source in association with fish protein hydrolysates. Plant-derived protein sources are generally less rich in phosphates and help limit the formation of nitrogen waste products (urea). This is essentially important because in the case of kidney failure, kidneys fail to efficiently eliminate nitrogen by-products. It is therefore necessary to limit the production of this waste.
• Low phosphorus concentration and low levels of high quality proteins (fish protein hydrolysates, potato protein hydrolysates).
• Limited number of ingredients to reduce the risk of food intolerances.
• High natural levels of Omega3, essential for their control of cell growth (especially fat cells) and elasticity, and to reduce overweight risk. Omega 3/6 ratio 1:3.
• Low sodium concentration and increased K/Na ratio.
