Description:
Aptus® Attapectin is a dietary supplement formulated for short-term digestive disturbances in dogs and cats, such as acute diarrhea. It protects the gastrointestinal mucosa and absorbs bacterial toxins and fermentation byproducts, promoting gut health.
💧 Ensure adequate hydration (50-100 ml per kg of body weight per day) using water or an electrolyte solution(e.g., Aptus Nutrisal) to support recovery, especially in cases of vomiting or prolonged diarrhea.
Composition (per tablet):
- Moisture: 6%
- Crude Fat: 1.7%
- Crude Fiber: 35%
- Crude Ash: 47%
Active Ingredients:
- Attapulgite (49.6%) – Binds toxins and protects the gut lining
- Pectin (E440) (8.8%) – Supports digestion and normal stool consistency
⚠ Note: Prolonged use may reduce the absorption of essential nutrients like iron, vitamins, or medications. Administer at least 3 hours after other medications.
