Calmatonine Calming Tablets for Pets
Calmatonine is a complementary feed formulated to help reduce stress caused by sudden changes in an animal’s daily routine or environment.
It may be useful during:
- Unexpected absence of the owner
- Moving to a new home
- Arrival of visitors
- Change of owner or carer
- Travelling
- Veterinary visits
- Thunderstorms, fireworks and other sudden noises
- Other unfamiliar or stressful situations
The carefully developed formula contains tryptophan, valerian root extract, passionflower extract and inositol to support normal nervous system function and promote calm, balanced behaviour.
Tryptophan is an essential amino acid involved in the production of serotonin. Valerian root extract contains valerenic acid, while the flavonoids found in passionflower provide additional calming support.
Active ingredients per tablet
- Tryptophan: 120 mg
- Valerenic acid: 0.8 mg, from 100 mg of Valeriana officinalis root extract
- Flavonoids: 4 mg, from 100 mg of Passiflora incarnata extract
- Inositol: 65 mg
