Calmatonine is a dietary supplement designed to reduce stress caused by sudden changes in a pet's daily routine, unexpected owner absence, relocation, guests, owner changes, travel, veterinary visits, and unexpected noises (thunder, fireworks, etc.).

The formula is carefully developed to stabilize the nervous system:

• Tryptophan is an essential amino acid that promotes serotonin production.
• Valerenic acid (from valerian extract) acts as a CNS neurotransmitter inhibitor.
• Flavonoids from passionflower extract have a calming effect.

Content per tablet:

• Tryptophan: 120mg
• Valerenic acid: 0.8mg (from Valeriana officinalis root extract 100mg)
• Flavonoids: 4mg (from Passiflora incarnata fruit extract 100mg)
• Inositol: 65mg

Additives (%):

• Vitamins, provitamins, and chemically analogous substances: Inositol 7.1%
• Amino acids and their analogs: Tryptophan 13%
• Flavorings: Vanilla extract (Vanilla planifolia) 3.3%, Valerian root extract (Valeriana officinalis) 10.9%, Passionflower fruit extract (Passiflora incarnata) 10.9%, Stevia extract (Stevia rebaudiana) 3.2%.

Dosage:

• Cats: ½ tablet/day
• Dogs:
  • Up to 10kg – ½ tablet/day
  • 10–20kg – 1 tablet/day
  • 20–30kg – 1½ tablets/day
  • 30–40kg – 2 tablets/day
  • Over 40kg – 3 tablets/day
• Ferrets, rabbits, birds: ¼ tablet/day
