Complementary Feed for Urinary Tract Health in Dogs and Cats

A complementary feed formulated to help prevent the formation of oxalate, urate and cystine urinary stones in dogs and cats.

The formula contains potassium citrate, vitamin B6 and dandelion (Taraxacum officinale) root powder. Glucosamine and omega-3 fatty acids provide additional support for the urinary tract, bladder and kidneys.

Potassium citrate helps increase urinary pH. Glucosamine supports the natural protective layer of the bladder lining, while dandelion helps increase urine volume and reduce the concentration of mineral salts in the urine.

Composition

Glycerine, potassium citrate, fish oil from menhaden, sucrose, sugar cane molasses, macrogol, pork liver powder, maize starch, soya fibre, glucosamine hydrochloride, vegetarian beef flavour derived from yeast, Taraxacum officinale root powder, magnesium stearate, soya oil.

Recommended initial amount

Administer 1 chew per 5 kg of body weight every 12–24 hours.

The amount should be adjusted in consultation with a veterinarian according to the desired urinary pH.

Do not exceed 4.5 chews per day.

Duration of use

The recommended period of use is up to six months.

Consult a veterinarian before use and before extending the period of administration.

Warnings

The product has urine-alkalising properties and contains a low level of protein derived from soya.

Always provide free access to fresh drinking water.
