Fit-aroma MONGE VETSOLUTION CANINE CARDIAC contains ginseng, known for its cardiovascular benefits, including heart protection, antihypertensive effects, prevention of myocardial hypertrophy, and potential in reducing heart failure. Panax ginsenosides modulate vasomotor functions, reduce platelet aggregation, influence ion channels, alter neurotransmitter release, and improve lipid profiles. The standardized ginseng extract prevents cardiomyocyte apoptosis.

In dogs, Panax ginseng ginsenosides can enhance serotonin release, acting as adaptogens to boost endurance and reduce stress. Recent studies suggest that ginseng's antioxidant and organ-protective effects are linked to increased nitric oxide (NO) synthesis in the endothelium of the lungs, heart, and kidneys.

Indications: Heart failure, hypertension.
Contraindications: Pregnancy, lactation, growth, pancreatitis.

PROTEINS: High protein levels to maintain muscle mass and prevent wasting. Increased taurine and carnitine to counteract taurine deficiency sometimes seen in dogs with cardiomyopathy, and to optimize fatty acid metabolism.
ESSENTIAL FATTY ACIDS: Purified salmon oil, a source of omega-3 fatty acids, to limit the production of pro-inflammatory molecules.
CARBOHYDRATES: Tapioca contains potassium, which acts as a vasodilator, improving blood flow and reducing tension in the cardiovascular system.
MINERALS: Low sodium content to address the effects of hypokalemia and hypomagnesemia in dogs with heart conditions.
