EGCG can mitigate nephrotoxicity by inhibiting leukocytosis, systemic inflammation, and oxidative stress and its consequences. EGCG significantly impacts renal hypertension and promotes tissue regeneration. Catechins in MONGE VETSOLUTION CANINE RENAL help reduce oxidative stress caused by free radicals and lower cell damage in the kidney epithelium by limiting the production of uremic toxins and nitric oxide (NO). Catechins also increase the activity of free radical-binding enzymes, improve renal circulation, and kidney function, and prevent glycogen accumulation in renal tubules, thus lowering blood glucose levels. While the absorption of natural polyphenols is limited, the absorbed fraction is transported to the liver and kidneys. Combined with albumin, the polyphenols, modified in the liver, are excreted via urine and bile.
