Vet Expert Bioprotect Paste for Dogs and Cats, 15ml

The product for dogs and cats supplementing energy and electrolytes and supporting digestion. Contains microorganisms that are a natural component of the gastrointestinal microbiota of dogs and cats. It can be administered adjunctively in diarrhea of various backgrounds.

ENTEROCOCCUS FAECIUM – as a component of the digestive tract microflora, stimulates the production of short-chain fatty acids, which are an energy source for intestinal cells. Due to the action of SCFAs, ions are absorbed more easily and the growth of pathogenic microflora is inhibited.

ACTIVATED CHARCOAL has the ability to bind and remove toxins from the gastrointestinal tract. It prevents systemic absorption of harmful substances by adsorbing them on the surface of its particles, making it suitable as supportive therapy during diarrhea.

Instruction for proper use

< 5 kg b.w. – 1 ml (total 2 ml) twice daily
5–10 kg b.w. – 2 ml (total 4 ml) twice daily
11–25 kg b.w. – 4 ml (total 8 ml) twice daily
26–40 kg b.w. – 6 ml (total 12 ml) twice daily
> 40 kg b.w. – 8 ml (total 16 ml) twice daily

Apply directly into the mouth according to the table for a minimum of 3 days or as supportive therapy during diarrhea as recommended by a veterinarian. If necessary, the daily dose may be doubled. Animals should always have access to fresh water.

Composition

13.2.2 dextrose, 13.8.2 glycerine, 3.2.4 carob flour, 13.2.11 fructo-oligosaccharides, 7.13.1 wood charcoal, 13.5.5 sorbitol, 11.4.1 sodium chloride, 11.5.1 potassium chloride, 11.2.6 magnesium chloride.

Zootechnical additives (CFU/L): 4b1707 Enterococcus faecium DSM 10663/NCIMB 10415 550.2 × 10⁹ CFU.

Technological additives (g/L): 1m558i bentonite 345 g.

Sensory additives: Flavouring compounds.

Storage:
Use within 3 months of opening. Store in a cool place.

Packaging: 15 ml syringe (15 x 1 ml doses).
