Oral Suspension – Complementary Feed for Dogs and Cats
Supports Kidney Function in Chronic Renal Disease

Purpose:
Pronefra® is a highly palatable oral suspension designed to support kidney function in dogs and cats suffering from chronic kidney disease (CKD). It helps reduce dietary phosphorus absorption, supports normal kidney structure, and contributes to blood pressure regulation.

Key Benefits:

• Calcium carbonate & magnesium carbonate: Reduce phosphorus absorption in the digestive tract

• Chitosan: Binds uremic toxins in the intestines

• Fish-derived oligopeptides: Help maintain balanced blood pressure

The liquid format and pleasant taste make it easier for animals to accept compared to capsules or tablets.

Composition:

Refined vegetable oils (olive, coconut), meat and poultry by-products, calcium carbonate (3.6%), hydrolyzed fish protein (1.9%), chitosan (1%), magnesium carbonate (1%)

Technological Additives per kg:

• Emulsifier (E433 – Polysorbate 80): 4,900 mg

Analytical Constituents:

• Crude oils and fats: 79.9%

• Crude protein: 7.6%

• Crude fiber: 0.33%

• Crude ash: 4.7%

Directions for Use:

Administer orally twice daily, either mixed with food, shortly before, or immediately after feeding. Use the included dosing syringe and adapter cap for accurate dosing based on body weight:

• Cats: 1 ml per 4 kg body weight, twice daily

• Dogs: 1 ml per 5 kg body weight, twice daily

Recommended use: up to 6 months. Do not exceed the recommended dose.

Important:

• Always ensure access to fresh drinking water

• Consult your veterinarian before use or before extending the period of administration

• May not be suitable for older animals or those with sensitive digestion or under medical treatment

• If vomiting occurs, reduce the dose for a few days. If symptoms persist, consult your veterinarian

How to Use the Pronefra® Dispenser (refer to package leaflet pictograms):

1. Shake the bottle well before each use

2. Unscrew the white cap to open

3. Screw the blue adapter cap onto the bottle

4. Open the small cap of the adapter

5. Firmly insert the dosing syringe into the adapter

6. Turn the bottle upside down and slowly pull the plunger to draw the correct amount

7. Turn the bottle upright and carefully remove the syringe; close the adapter cap

8. Administer directly into the mouth or mix into food

9. Rinse the syringe thoroughly with clean water after each use

Storage Instructions:

• Store in a dry place at room temperature, out of reach of children and animals

• Do not refrigerate

• After opening:

  • 60 ml bottle – use within 2 months

  • 180 ml bottle – use within 6 months

• Product may thicken or solidify in cold temperatures. Let it return to room temperature for a few hours to regain its original consistency – this does not affect quality

• Slight sediment formation is normal
